In August 2011 Sandy (finally) used her RV and joined Mike's family (in a rented RV) for a trip north through Oregon, Washington, Idaho to Canada. Our initial goal was to spend time at Lake Louise and Banff, but we never got that far and saw southern British Columbia and the Olympic Peninsula in Washington instead. A wonderful trip!

Coeur d'Alene
Just 25 miles or so east of Spokane, is the very nice little (35,000 population) of Coeur d’Alene running along the northern most end of the huge Coeur d’Alene Lake (25 miles long). There was a huge street fair going on that ran through the town and park so we wandered along, bought goodies, the kids swam in the lake and played in the huge play structures, Angie, Tom, and Mandy went on a walk, and Mike found perfect houses for us to buy right on the lake.
